WHAT THE HECK IS GOLD & GLOW?

This beautiful creation started with a glimpse of seeing everything wrong with the media marketing industry and a 21 year old’s dream to do it differently…

to be more specific, here’s our story:

THE VISION:

On April 4th 2019 I was 3 days into a fast and I couldn’t sleep so I pulled out my journal and wrote “Holy Spirit, I’m all ears to you.” I instantly imagined myself teaching grids, media, and more and felt God say “I believe in your creativity.” I imagined the words “Gold & Glow” with a to-do list right next to it and a dream I didn’t even know I had begun.

THE PREQUEL:

A few months later I got my first 9-5 job at a consulting agency that turned out to be a complete scam and never paid me a dime for my work, following that I felt God nudge me to return to my to-do list for “Gold & Glow”, less than 2 weeks into that I got another job offer at a local marketing agency, at first I turned the offer down but after their persistence, I accepted. After 3 months of working at a job I hated, with no time off, no grace, no encouragement, and a toxic work environment I was “let go” in a really disappointing way (no worries, it was mutual) I got on the phone with my dad to let him know what happened and he gently said “I’ve been praying this would happen, I hate seeing you throw your life away not doing what you were made to do.

GOLD & GLOW BEGINS:

The next day I went home and decided I could throw my life away by working at jobs I’ll never succeed in or I could check off that to-do list God gave me and start my own company built on honesty and transparency. So I began.
GOLD & GLOW is a photography and social media management company that is based on transparency, honesty, equality, and creativity. It’s founded on the mistakes it’s CEO (ME) saw in the industry and the improvements she began to think were necessary. Gold & Glow has a base of clients ranging from skincare, shampoo, portraits, and social media management. It also has an intern program full of creative learners seeking growth. Less than 5 months into the business Gold & Glow has 2 employees, 5 interns, and is growing with each day.
